Welcome
Welcome to the LJS blog! I hesitated for a long time about whether or not to include a blog on this latest iteration of my website. Many people warned me that unless I was committed to posting at least 3 times a week, it wouldn’t be a good idea to have one. As you can see, I’m not exactly at 3 postings a week yet
and still I find this a useful way to build community and share thinking on issues around social justice, oppression, listening, leadership, diversity and inclusion. I hope you do too!
As you explore the blog, you’ll see that some of the current and archived postings are my responses or reviews about books that I’m reading, some are insightful human stories of things that happened to me or people I know, others guide you to interesting websites for further information, and still others are musings from my newsletter, reposted here for interactive comment and reflection. Soon I will begin to share some preliminary chapters from my upcoming book with the working title “Everyone is Good (Including You!): A Transformational Guide to Social Justice.”
I am still amazed at the power of blogs to bring voices together from all of the world. Thank you, in advance, for taking the time to read my (and other’s) thoughts on these topics and for sharing your encouraging and thoughtful feedback.
