Larisa Eichacker
Larisa Eichacker, Executive Coordinator for LJS, brings her background in coordinating volunteers, event planning, and managing a small business to the LJS office. In addition to her business experience, she has donated countless hours of her time to non-profit organizations, supporting her interests in education, environmental causes and early childhood programs.
Larisa grew up in Kansas, learning to fly her grandfather’s tail-dragger at 15 years old. She admits to skipping class on occasion to fly over the towns and farmlands of western Kansas. Her love of flight led her to the University of Washington and a degree in aeronautical engineering. Her degree led to a job in the aircraft industry and a move to San Diego. Within a few years, and a move to Oregon, her priorities shifted to raising a family.
Larisa and her husband Chuck have been residents of NE Portland for 15 years. Together with their teenage sons, Tom and Adam, they enjoy everything Oregon has to offer, from trips to the beach, exploring Mt. Hood and hiking in the Columbia Gorge.
