Tasha Wheatt-Delancy
Tasha Wheatt-Delancy, a Junior Associate at LJS, has a passion for delivering custom diversity seminars and creating dialogues that build bridges across communities. She brings years of experience in the areas of diversity consultation and training, social and health equity, organizational development especially in relation to non-profit management, culturally-specific group facilitation, program management, and mental health and wellness.
Tasha works to ensure under-represented populations have access to culturally relevant services in areas of chemical addictions and mental health. She also focuses on improving programs and systems that serve to reduce the recidivism rate of African American’s in correctional institutions. In addition, she has direct experience implementing culturally appropriate, evidenced-based practice model programs.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Development at Warner Pacific College and her Master’s in Social Work at Portland State University. Originally from Alabama, Tasha currently lives in Gresham, Oregon, USA with her husband and two children.
